‧Job Opening

     The International Master Program in Asia-Pacific Affairs(IMAPA) in National Sun Yat-sen University invites applications for two full time positions to begin Fall (August) 2013. Responsibilities include teaching and research supervision at the graduate level, mentoring students, and participating in IMAPA and University various activities.

 

Qualifications: PhD degree in a relevant discipline and record of teaching and research excellence. We seek highly productive scholar-teachers whose work is both academically and theoretically oriented. Candidates should use English as primary language for teaching and research; native English speaker background is preferred. 

 

     We seek candidates with a regional expertise in Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia, or East Asia, or in broader expertise in regional economic relations or regional security relations across the regions. All other related issues will also be considered. Candidates may be considered for appointment at the level of assistant professor or associate professor, depending on qualifications.

 

     Interested candidates should send a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three letter of reference, evidence of teaching effectiveness, copies of relevant publications, a graduate school transcript and courses could be offered.
