Why did you choose the College of Social Sciences NSYSU for your postgraduate study?
The College of Social Sciences of NSYSU is the top of its kind in all southern Taiwan, and ranks third nation wide. But most importantly, the College of Social Sciences of NSYSU is considered to be the most independent in Taiwan, with a wide range of research fields lead by a body of scholars coming from the most varied backgrounds. The Institute of Political Sciences as part of the College of Social Sciences of NSYSU provides the right environment for my personal aspirations towards in depth research of the International Relations as my future professional development career.
What did you gain from your time at the College of Social Sciences NSYSU?
The College of Social Sciences of NSYSU has given me the opportunity to learn from a wide range of distinguished researchers in regular courses, as well as the great amount of international conferences with the participation of top scholars from the most prestigious institutions from different countries and regions of the world. Being part of the College of Social Sciences of NSYSU has also allowed me to participate and present my research papers in international conferences inside and outside Taiwan.
What are your career plans in the next five years?
My nearest career plans include one year of research outside Taiwan as part of the exchange programs offered by The College of Social Sciences of NSYSU. I will stay in France for a six months period in order to conduct research related to the European Union, next, I will go to Mainland China where I will conduct research regarding the triangular relation involving Taiwan, China, and Latin America.
